| | Model of the car: | Sentra Classic | | | General comments: | Best first car ever! I highly recommend this car for reliability, cost, mileage, and performance. The only repairs I had were brakes at 140K, CV boots, muffler and pipe, and battery replacement. And the performance was such a surprise! Even with an automatic, I could pass every car on the road (even if that occasionally meant downshifting to 2nd on a steep incline). If you want zippy performance and don't care about the ho-hum radio system,haphazard placement of the cupholders, and the basic-no-frills interior, this is the car to get! The best kept secret on the road! | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | The driver side window! I almost broke my arm trying to roll that thing up! I'm told this is a defect. Lubricating won't help. Estimate to repair is $200 plus. | | | Previous car: | Sentra was my first car. Just traded it in for a sportier and newer look but I'll always have a fondness for my sentra. Would definitely not dismiss buying one in the future. |
