Nissan Sentra GXE
| | Model of the car: | Nissan Sentra GXE | | | General comments: | This may not be the best looking car I've ever owned, but it is the most reliable. I bought it in May, 2001 with 46,000 miles when my '93 Probe GT was about to die. In the time I"ve owned it, I"ve put 34,000 miles on it, and haven't had to do anything to it at all, except buy a new set of tires at 51,000 miles, and change the oil every 3000 miles. It's still got original everything else. It's fun to drive, even with it's anemic engine, and I don't EVER worry about whether or not it'll get me where I"m going, or if it'll start in the morning. I plan on hanging on to this car for the rest of it's life, and using it as a commuter car, since I drive about 60 miles a day. I would recommend this thing to ANYONE who wants a car that tehy can drive the hell out of, and just do simple maintenence on. It's an amazing car. My next commuter car when this one goes will definitely be another Sentra. I won't even look at anything else. | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | 13" tires scream for an upgrade, wind noise at highway speeds is a problem, though you'll adjust quickly.
