| | Model of the car: | Nissan Sentra GXE | | | General comments: | Bought this car in 1997 based on my experience with the earlier model. It has proved to be good decision as the car has been highly reliable so far. Only factory recommended maintenance ( not dealer recommended ) has been done on it. No parts have been replaced or gone bad. Looks like I paid for the extended warranty for nothing. It has been consistently giving me an average of more than 30 mpg, which includes both city and freeway miles. I would say it is a definite value for money. Moreover, I saved >$500.00 per year on insurance compared to Honda Civic. | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | wiper blade showed streaks | | | Previous car: | 1988 Sentra 2door, bought used at 127,000 miles. Worked perfect for one year and 140,000 miles. Only did oil change as part of regular maintenance. Got wrecked in an accident so bought a new one. |
