| | Model of the car: | Nissan Senta SE 5 Speed W/Performance Package. | | | General comments: | This is a great car for the price. It costs about the same as comparably equipped Korean cars. Also, It has a better recent history and higher resale value. This car feels solid and has a firm ride. This car will drive at 100 mph with plenty of tachomoter left over. However, it seems to lack low rpm torque. | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | I would like the Sentra without the rear spoiler, but it came in the performance package that I wanted. The spoiler weighs the trunk down, patially blocks the rear view, and I think the Sentra's look better without them. The larger engine has more horsepower, but lacks low rpm torque and eats a bit more fuel than the smaller one. (neutral compromise) | | | Previous car: | Honda CRV. The CRV has more ground clearance, but costs around $4000-5000 more and costs much more to insure. Volkswagen Jetta was a good Deal in 1991 when I bought mine. However, Nissan has unbeatabl |
