Nissan Sentra GXE
| | Model of the car: | Nissan Sentra GXE | | | General comments: | I have limited experinece with the new Sentra (1000 klicks), but I think Nissan has hit a major home run with this car! It makes the new Civic and Corolla look pathetic, by comparison. I was always a "Honda" man, but couldn't accept the poor effort (IMHO) of the latest Civic. The Accord is a nice car, but too expensive for my driving. Anyway, I think that Nissan are pulling themselves out of their financial slump, and this newly-designed Sentra will help them go a long way. I had toyed with the idea of buying the new Golf, but Japanese car quality has won me over for life. | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | The suspension is firm and supple, but doesn't absorb the bumpy Nova Scotia roads (we have the WORST roads in the country!)like my 1997 Honda Civic. Yes, beware of that coinbox | | | Previous car: | 1997 Honda Civic EX sedan. This is "in storage" in my driveway, as a buddy of mine intends to drive it back to Calgary in a few weeks. I have no doubt that the car will be free of troubles on his journey. |
